Seven months and we are mobile!

Hunter is a movin' and a shakin'!!!  He still hasn't completely mastered the crawl but he has mastered the army crawl!  That head goes down and he is across the room in no time.

He is eating three solid meals a day and we have begun to introduce puffs into his routine.  He loves to cuddle and is learning how to give people 'sugar'.  His laugh is contagious and his smile melts your heart.  I've said it before but I'll say it again.  Man, I love this baby!!!

Spring Break Down on the Farm

We decided to take advantage of Spring Break and Hunter and I traveled with Daddy!  Of course, it was only down to the farm to visit Mama Nelle but at this point that is a vacation in of itself!

We spent a lot of time outdoors!

Just enjoyed living the country life!

Six Months

Hard to believe that half a year has already passed with Hunter in our lives!  He is such a happy, cuddly, lovable, adorable baby boy!!

Mama Brags:  Hunter cut his first two teeth about three weeks ago.  He rolls both ways without any trouble.  He can scoot around the floor but hasn't quite figured out how to crawl just yet!  (I can say that I am not pushing the crawling because I realize that my life as I know it will definitely be over once crawling has been mastered.) He thinks coughing is A LOT of fun as an additional noise.  He can sit unassisted for extended periods of time.  He wakes up every morning with the sweetest smile and sounds.  He isn't perfect but he sure is the closest thing I know!

Teeth!!

That's right....I said teeth not just tooth!!  We figured that Hunter was getting close to cutting his first tooth a couple weeks ago because the drool increased ten-fold overnight but I wasn't expecting two!!  He handled it pretty well....a little fussier than usual but could have been more from the fact that he slept even less than normal (if that is even possible.)  But, we can now see the tops of both of them and our little guy is back to smiling....with two teeth!!

Ms. Van's 100th Birthday

This past weekend we made a special trip down to the farm in order to be able to attend Ms. Van's 100th birthday celebration with the family in Houston.  Ms. Van is Joe's Uncle John's mother and we just couldn't miss celebrating her 100 years of life.

Hunter did wonderfully and I must admit that he was a huge hit in his little 'golfer' outfit. 

Happy Hippo

One of the many EARLY mornings that Hunter seems to enjoy so much, I ended up finding a video titled "Happy Hippo" that he just absolutely loves.  It is a silly hippo and dog singing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."  I cannot tell you how many times we have watched this video but every time we turn it on his little face just lights up.

Valentine's Day

My big Valentine is on business in Las Vegas but still managed to get this beautiful boutique delivered! 

My sweet, handsome Valentine is keeping me company today.
