8 Months

Our little man is changing rapidly!  He is now a proficient crawler, loves to snack on puffs, and is pulling up on any and everything he can.  He is still successfully sleeping through the night and there have actually been a few occasions when Joe and I have woken up before him.

His favorite toy in the house is his new walker!  He loves being able to cruise around the house or outside around the pool.  I think his favorite part of it is the fact that he can now chase down the dogs.  Not so sure the dogs love this new past time but they tolerate it because it is their baby!

Sleep Training

I am not sure what finally made me decide to really do it.....could have been the fact that after nearly 8 months of not sleeping more than 4 hours at a time got to me....but for the past two weeks we have been in the process of sleep training.  It has not been easy and there have been times when I really questioned whether or not it was worth it but now that he is sleeping through the night I can comfortably say it was worth it.  I have renewed energy and he is even happier than he was, if that is even possible!

Easter Weekend

This weekend we were able to enjoy time as a family on Friday, with great friends on Saturday, and Easter with family. 
















Hunter received many great gifts from friends and family but his favorite one is definitely the little bunny from his babysitter, Blayne.  It is the perfect size for his little hands and he thinks it is just plain fabulous!

Get up, Stand up!!

Last night when Hunter woke me up crying, I went in to find him standing up in his crib!!

Today that is all he has wanted to practice!!!

Seven months and we are mobile!

Hunter is a movin' and a shakin'!!!  He still hasn't completely mastered the crawl but he has mastered the army crawl!  That head goes down and he is across the room in no time.

He is eating three solid meals a day and we have begun to introduce puffs into his routine.  He loves to cuddle and is learning how to give people 'sugar'.  His laugh is contagious and his smile melts your heart.  I've said it before but I'll say it again.  Man, I love this baby!!!

Spring Break Down on the Farm

We decided to take advantage of Spring Break and Hunter and I traveled with Daddy!  Of course, it was only down to the farm to visit Mama Nelle but at this point that is a vacation in of itself!

We spent a lot of time outdoors!

Just enjoyed living the country life!

Six Months

Hard to believe that half a year has already passed with Hunter in our lives!  He is such a happy, cuddly, lovable, adorable baby boy!!

Mama Brags:  Hunter cut his first two teeth about three weeks ago.  He rolls both ways without any trouble.  He can scoot around the floor but hasn't quite figured out how to crawl just yet!  (I can say that I am not pushing the crawling because I realize that my life as I know it will definitely be over once crawling has been mastered.) He thinks coughing is A LOT of fun as an additional noise.  He can sit unassisted for extended periods of time.  He wakes up every morning with the sweetest smile and sounds.  He isn't perfect but he sure is the closest thing I know!
